Meanderings of Yore

I meander between different genres of lit--lit which often happens to be from days of yore--and enjoy posting from many of said meanderings.

Meaning of authority:

The root meaning is ‘right, based on origin.’ It is the author who has authority, author’s rights. The authority of Christ … is based on his identity as the divine Author of the world.

~Peter Kreeft, Between Heaven & Hell: A Dialog Somewhere Beyond Death with John F. Kennedy, C. S. Lewis & Aldous Huxley
